Honestly....Weeds is the best show on TV, hands down.

The "Fire on the Mountain" reference was classic for any Dead Head...I was watching w/my wife and nearly fell off the chair. The best part if that after she does the line she says to the black guy "You know--Grateful Dead"....and he just gives her this puzzled blank look and shakes his head...

There is also a wealth of other great music (non Dead related) in the show...and the extras on the DVD's contain great treats like close-ups and commentary on some of the best bud varieties grown to man.

Also, Kevin Nealon plays a perpetual stoner/accountant/city councilman and steals nearly every scene he's in. In the episode where the literal Fire on the Mountain has all the residents of the California suburb evacuated to a shelter at the community center, he goes around with a banjo singing:

"This is just like the Superdome/except everyone's white and middle class/we've got people chanting yoga/and lots of Gatorade/and toilet paper to wipe our ass....yeah, this just like the Super-doh-oh-oh-oooooome."

Finally, I sure as hell wouldn't describe Mary Louise Parker as "mousy"....she is positively smoking hot...IMHO ;-)
